The more I see
The less I know
About all the things I thought were wrong or right
& carved in stone
So, don't ask me about
War, Religion, or God
Love, Sex, or Death
Because....
Everybody knows what's going wrong with the world
But I don't even know what's going on in myself.
You've gotta work out your own salvation.
With no explanation to this Earth we fall
On hands & knees we crawl
And we look up to the stars
And we reach out & pray
To a deaf, dumb & blind God who never explains.

"Ciertamente", dijo el Agente de Seguridad, "me indigna la forma como operan esos malandrios, jajaja".
Tomamos asiento, pedimos un café.
"Es una ofensa a la humana integridad, o a la humanidad íntegra".
Volteó a los lados, nervioso, cuidando que nadie atinara sus intenciones. Escondió la cabeza entre los hombros, como un caracol.
"¿Qué son los levantones jaja?", preguntó, "nunca los he entendido jaja".
Hizo una pausa. Vi cómo le temblaba la taza en la mano. Le dio un sorbo. Empezó a reírse convulsivamente, sin poder detenerse.
"¿Cuál es la diferencia entre... entre un secuestro y un levantón ah ah ah? jajaja".
Entendí que estaba sufriendo un ataque de nervios, un trastorno. No paraba de reírse jaja. Debía guardar profundo respeto.

Conozco a personas que lo tienen muy claro. La persona que lo tiene muy claro hace al día varias declaraciones definitivas tanto en grandes asuntos como en pequeños.

"Yo nunca limpio mi casa con productos abrasivos".
"¿Salmón? Para nada, son de piscifactoría".

Esas personas tan firmes a veces cambian de principios, ayer eran ateas, hoy son budistas y mañana mediopensionistas, pero lo esencial en ellas no es que cambien de opinión, sino que hacen borrón y cuenta nueva, olvidan lo que fueron, y quieren que tú y el mundo entero asuman de golpe esa nueva creencia que ellos abrazan, una creencia que parece abarcar todos los aspectos de la vida.

Hay personas con el pecho hinchado de principios. Principios como catedrales. Pero yo no me escandalizo, porque estoy acostumbrada a soportar durante toda mi vida a esas personas que patrimonializan la razón, que defienden ideologías tremendas que lo justifican todo con implacable impiedad. Igual de insoportables eran cuando eran tan de izquierdas como ahora que son tan de derechas o al contrario.

Majaderías

Tenía pensado
escribir un artículo
pero el espíritu
de las fiestas
se me ha metido en el cuerpo
y he sentido
la necesidad de celebrar

que fue un año violento
desquiciado
Porque los humanos
estamos chiflados
pero algunas
de las majaderías que cometemos
resultan divertidas
